EDUCATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR Climate reporting to the Program Director for Education will manage and implement the day-to-day operations of the climate education program and activities in the Office of the Vice President for Energy and Climate including the Environmental and Sustainability (ES) Minor the Martin Family Society of Fellows for Sustainability coordination of climate-related Departments Labs and Centers and student engagement at MIT; assist and support with ongoing grant-funded projects teaching/curriculum and research; manage the Environmental and Sustainability (ES) Degree Minor Program; manage the Martin Fellows PhD Fellowship Program; and coordination of Climate-Related DLCs and Student Engagement.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelors degree and a minimum of two years of experience; strong oral and written communications skills; the ability to work independently on multiple projects at a time and to develop strategic recommendations for complex topics utilizing independent analysis and judgement; strong writing skills; and the ability to absorb and synthesize complex information across a variety of topics under time constraints and to distill this information to inform timely action. PREFERRED: Knowledge of either education program coordination in general or environmental and sustainability education more specifically; strong understanding of climate change energy and sustainability issues; social media and promotional experience; two years of experience in higher education programming and coordination; and MIT related experience.
