Job Description

A growing healthcare company is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME). This full-time in-office role involves assisting patients and providers with DME-related inquiries processing orders and ensuring accurate and timely support for all equipment needs.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in DME operations strong communication skills and the ability to manage patient interactions with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Respond to patient and provider inquiries regarding DME products and services

  • Process orders and coordinate delivery or fulfillment of DME items

  • Verify insurance coverage and prior authorizations as needed

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

  • Provide support to patients throughout the DME process from inquiry to delivery

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with healthcare billing and insurance processes

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Proficient with office software and patient record systems
