Job Description
The MEP Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems within construction projects. Key duties include reviewing designs and drawings for compliance with project standards and regulations managing the distribution and approval of drawings among stakeholders and leading a team of engineers supervisors and technicians for coordinated MEP execution. The role requires close collaboration with contractors across various disciplines (e.g. electrical plumbing HVAC firefighting IT) to ensure quality safety and timely completion of all MEP activities.
This role demands strong technical expertise in MEP systems including chillers generators HVAC and their integration with Building Management Systems (BMS) and SCADA. Additional responsibilities include coordinating statutory approvals managing testing and commissioning activities and ensuring systems are functional before project handover. Proficiency in BIM and AutoCAD along with schedule management skills and strict adherence to safety and quality standards are essential for success in this position.
