Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a Management Accountant in Sydney or Adelaide. Join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in supporting financial operations and reporting. Reporting toFinance Team Manager youll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What Youll Do
This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:
- Support the Accounting Services team in a high-performance culture environment ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance
- Contribute to accurate recording of revenues expenditures assets and liabilities while maintaining compliance with accounting standards
- Play an integral part in the month-end process to ensure all transactions are recorded in a timely fashion
- Support Order-To-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay processes troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Maintain accurate and timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts investigating and resolving discrepancies
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field (required);
- Must be studying towards or CPA or CA qualified.
- Experience in financial management and accounting.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools including ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
