Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our Software Development team based in Milan. This role focuses on the development of simulation models and applications using MathWorks tools (MATLAB/Simulink). You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in the automotive domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement dynamic system models in Simulink based on initial MATLAB scripts provided by other teams.
- Simulate and test product functionalities using positive pre-validated scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure model accuracy and consistency with product requirements.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality traceable and maintainable software in line with automotive standards.
- Support integration of developed models into larger application frameworks or systems.
Key Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink including experience with application-specific toolboxes.
- Solid understanding of dynamic system modeling and simulation.
- Familiarity with automotive software development standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262 is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the automotive sector.
- Understanding of embedded systems and control logic design.
