Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our dedicated team. Under physician supervision the PNP will provide comprehensive primary care services with a strong focus on wellness and preventive care. The ideal candidate is passionate about pediatrics and committed to delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary care services including examinations screenings and treatments.
Prescribe and administer medications and therapeutic procedures.
Conduct well-child visits physical exams and developmental screenings.
Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses under physician guidance.
Order perform and interpret routine lab tests and diagnostics.
Educate and counsel patients and families on health development and lifestyle.
Document care thoroughly and accurately in medical records.
Collaborate with physicians and consult specialists as needed.
Triage patient concerns via phone and provide timely recommendations.
Support continuity of care and follow-up for ongoing conditions.
Maintain professional standards participate in staff meetings and engage in continuing education.
Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing with Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification
Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Florida
Eligible for professional liability insurance
Strong communication problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience in pediatrics or family practice preferred

Current, active, CNA license. Current CPR certification Must be familiar with EMR documentation. Pediatric experience preferred. Candidates must be available for variable shifts. Candidates will work in the East Orlando or Longwood location
