What Youll Do
Review engineering drawings and perform accurate material take-offs.
Purchase piping materials and shop supplies as needed.
Maintain and monitor inventory at the fabrication shop and yard.
Arrange transportation of materials to job sites with proper documentation.
Inspect all incoming equipment and materials for accuracy and quality.
Process purchase orders and receiving records in compliance with procedures.
Partner with the QC Manager to ensure all documentation meets ASME standards.
Collaborate closely with the Site Manager and Shop Superintendent to align orders with project schedules.
Qualifications :
What Youll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum five years of experience in material purchasing logistics and field equipment coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid math skills for basic calculations and reporting.
Ability to work independently manage deadlines and solve problems on the fly.
Physical Requirements
Able to sit or stand for extended periods.
Occasionally required to walk handle materials and operate shop tools.
Ability to see and read documents and work in digital systems.
