Job Description
Job Title: NodeJS Developer Intern
Location: Remote
Type: Unpaid Internship 6 months)
At Hubnex Labs we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented NodeJS Developer Intern to join our backend development team for a 6-month internship. As a NodeJS Intern you ll be responsible for building scalable backend services integrating APIs and working on real SaaS products for Hubnex Labs and its subsidiaries. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with server-side technologies and real-world product development. If you perform well during this internship there may be a full-time opportunity at the end of the 6-month period.
Key Responsibilities
API Development: Assist in designing and building RESTful APIs using NodeJS and Express.
Database Integration: Work with MongoDB PostgreSQL or other databases to handle data storage and retrieval.
Authentication & Security: Implement user authentication authorization and follow security best practices.
Error Handling & Logging: Ensure proper error handling validations and maintain logs.
Code Collaboration: Work in Git-based environments participate in code reviews and follow clean coding practices.
Deployment: Assist in deploying applications to cloud platforms like Vercel Render or Railway.
Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers and DevOps to ensure seamless data flow and deployment.
What We re Looking For
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Backend Proficiency: Understanding of NodeJS and asynchronous JavaScript.
Database Skills: Familiarity with MongoDB PostgreSQL or MySQL.
API Knowledge: Experience with building or consuming RESTful APIs.
Version Control: Knowledge of Git GitHub and branching strategies.
Deployment Know-How: Awareness of basic CI/CD hosting and environment variables.
Problem Solving: Strong debugging and logical thinking skills.
Communication: Ability to collaborate remotely and communicate clearly in a team setup.
