Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedCommercial Insurance Account Managerto join our dynamic team. In this role you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the seamless management of a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. You will work closely with producers underwriters and other internal teams to provide tailored risk management solutions for our clients. Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance accounts ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients responding promptly to inquiries resolving issues and providing expert guidance on insurance policies.
  • Collaborate with sales producers and underwriters to design and present comprehensive insurance solutions tailored to meet clients unique business needs.
  • Process policy renewals endorsements cancellations and other transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct periodic policy reviews with clients to discuss coverage options identify potential gaps and assess evolving insurance needs.
  • Assist with claims processing by guiding clients through procedures and liaising with insurers for efficient resolution.
  • Monitor and document client interactions in the agency management system to ensure transparency and continuity of service.
  • Stay current with insurance industry trends regulations and market developments to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Actively contribute to ongoing process improvements team collaboration and department initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager (minimum of 3 years) in commercial insurance or a related role.
  • Active and valid P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products coverage types and industry practices.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive and client-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational abilities including prioritizing tasks managing deadlines and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g. AMS360 Applied Epic) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience working with a variety of industries or specialized insurance markets - preferred.
