Job Description
The Coordinator of Prison Education Programs provides leadership and operational oversight for all college programs delivered within Gatesville-area TDCJ units including credit-bearing academic courses career and technical education ( CTE ) non-credit workforce certifications and dual-credit offerings in partnership with Windham School District ( WSD ). The Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between CTC TDCJ WSD faculty and internal college departments.
Other Information
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required for events and programs. Occasional travel may be necessary to build partnerships and attend conferences. Must be capable of working under precise and exacting conditions and be able to work under stress. Must have a neat appearance and have the ability to work well with the general public and others. Must be willing to work with incarcerated students. Must meet Texas Department of Criminal Justice ( TDCJ ) security requirements.
