Job Description
Baird is seeking a dynamic Meeting Planner Leadto oversee the planning and execution of meetings and events within our Corporate Conference Centers. This leadership role will manage a team of planners and coordinators ensuring seamless event delivery while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including AV Hospitality Services and Catering.
As a Meeting Planner Lead you may:
- Lead coach and manage a team of meeting planners and coordinators
- Oversee event logistics from planning to execution and post-event review
- Collaborate with AV hospitality and catering teams to ensure high-quality service
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate performance metrics
- Support high-impact events and provide strategic planning guidance
- Monitor budgets staffing and conference center operations
- Drive continuous improvement and uphold Bairds client-first culture

- 5 years in event planning hospitality or related leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of AV catering and event logistics
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 25%
