You will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining policies and programs that promote ethical behavior compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with organizational values. You will serve as a key advisor to leadership on ethics-related risks provide compliance training and lead investigations into potential violations of laws regulations and internal codes of conduct.
This role requires deep knowledge of ethical standards risk management frameworks and regulatory obligations as well as the ability to influence a culture of integrity throughout a remote or distributed workforce. You will ensure that the company conducts business in an ethical and socially responsible manner while managing reputational and legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Design implement and oversee the companys ethics and compliance program including policies training risk assessments and reporting mechanisms
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws industry regulations and corporate policies (e.g. FCPA SOX HIPAA GDPR anti-corruption anti-bribery whistleblower protection)
Conduct internal investigations into reports of misconduct conflicts of interest harassment discrimination fraud or other ethical breaches
Serve as the primary contact for ethics reporting channels (e.g. ethics hotline anonymous reporting tools) ensuring confidentiality and proper resolution
Lead employee training and awareness programs on ethical behavior code of conduct and regulatory responsibilities
Collaborate with HR Legal Risk Audit and senior leadership to manage compliance issues and advise on mitigation strategies
Perform periodic compliance audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure program effectiveness
Maintain and update the companys Code of Ethics and other compliance-related policies in accordance with evolving laws and best practices
Track and report key compliance metrics and risk indicators to senior executives and the board of directors
Monitor global regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and integrity
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Law Ethics Business Public Policy Risk Management or a related field
2 years of experience in ethics compliance corporate governance or risk management
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to your industry (e.g. FCPA SOX HIPAA GDPR ISO 37001 or U.S. Sentencing Guidelines)
Demonstrated experience conducting investigations and managing sensitive employee or stakeholder concerns
Excellent judgment discretion and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to develop and deliver effective training in a virtual environment
Strong analytical writing and reporting skills
Comfort operating in remote cross-functional teams and confidential environments
