Diesel Truck Mechanic Light/Medium Duty
Location: Los Angeles CA
Pay Range: $28 - $38/hr. (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday/Friday 7:00 AM/3:30 PM Optional Overtime Available
Job Type: Full-Time Direct Hire

Your Day-to-Day
-
Troubleshoot and repair engine transmission electrical air and hydraulic systems
-
Conduct PM service soil changes filter swaps brake checks etc.

Perform full vehicle inspections to assess wear damage or safety concerns
-
R&R components such as bearings air compressors radiators or oil pans
-
Use diagnostic tools and visual assessments to identify and fix common diesel issues
-
Keep your workspace clean safe and compliant with shop standards
-
Communicate clearly with parts and service teams to streamline workflow
-
Adjust to shifting priorities and work independently or collaboratively depending on the task
What You Bring
At least 5 years of general diesel repair experience (light/medium duty)
Your own complete mechanic tool setup (roll-away and portable cart)
Strong working knowledge of truck electrical air and hydraulic systems
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
A proven track record of showing up on time and getting the job done
Comfort working on brands like Ford Freightliner Peterbilt or GM is a plus
