KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tax and Accounting Filings
- Assist in the preparation of various tax and tax legal documents.
- Perform all classes of administrative and secretarial work.
- Finalizing and formatting replies and other filings with the BIR.
- Filing of necessary replies returns supporting documents and other papers with the BIR.
- Act as liaison officer with the BIR and/or other government offices to request for information and/or to request or submit documents
Document Management
- Organize the filing and classification of documents and records of the Tax Department according to the defined standards.
- Maintain active inventory of case records and documents of the Tax Department.
Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Tax Head
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- With working knowledge pertaining to basic office skills such as records keeping and retrieval
- Preferably with experience in handling various corporate documents and applications filed with the BIR
- Basic research skills
- Able to communicate effectively (both oral and written) and foster good relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external)
- Willing to learn and is highly organized.
- Keen eye for detail flexibility and qualities of a team player
- With time management skills and ability to organize multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Able to write/draft reports memos and other related documents
- Able to sort index categorize order manipulate and organize information/data/documents
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) software (i.e. Windows Word Excel and Outlook) and databases to manage voluminous data
EDUCATION TRAININGS LICENSES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Science Graduate or Bachelor of Laws Graduate or any Business or relevant course
- Preferably with at least one to two years of experience with a law firm/legal industry/legal department/tax firm or other relevant experience.
