You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailBuild NS is actively recruiting a Project Manager ICAT with large scale IT Infrastructure and Building Systems IT/OT projects experience in design planning implementation construction and oversight that will easily integrate into the broader established construction team located in Sydney NS.
Information communications automation technology (ICAT) plays a pivotal role enabling the necessary functionality at these facilities. The Project Manager ICAT will lead activities delivering the functional design building systems and commissioning the information technology and operations technology (IT/OT). In addition to managing these multi-year projects the Project Manager ICAT is required to manage smaller IT infrastructure enabling projects as directed. This position requires a qualified IT Infrastructure Project Manager to manage technical deliverables into construction projects as part of a dedicated integrated project team. This is a five (5) year full-time position.
Build Nova Scotia Healthcare Infrastructure Division is committed to delivering an extensive multi-site multi-year infrastructure Redevelopment Plan designed to ensure the health care needs of Nova Scotians are met for the next 50 years.
The redevelopment plan includes major expansions and additions to hospitals and health services in communities across the Province including throughout the Halifax and Cape Breton Regional Municipalities. Successful project delivery will allow services to be moved out of the aging facilities such as the Centennial Victoria and Dickson buildings on the Victoria General (VG) site of the QEII.
Master planning for the redevelopment program is focused on modernizing the health care system to ensure the needs of Nova Scotians remain at the heart of our delivery of best-in-class services. Together the redevelopment projects will help support the health care of all Nova Scotians today and for future generations.
