Northern Rivers Community Gateway has been delivering the Rainbow Region Kids program for many years. This well-established accredited program provides before school care after school care and vacation care for primary school-aged children at various locations across the region.
Our dedicated team creates inclusive safe and enriching environments for children to thrive and now were seeking a committed Program Support Officer to join our Lismore office team (30 hours per week).
Your RoleAs Program Support Officer you will provide vital administration support to the Rainbow Region Kids team helping ensure smooth delivery of our services across the region. Your responsibilities will include:
Enrolments bookings attendance confirmation and support through the OWNA childcare management system
Fee allocation receipting and reconciliation
Administering inclusion support hours online
Supporting families and carers with enrolment and account queries via digital platforms
Generating analytical data and reports from OWNA as required
Supporting general office and team administration
Building and maintaining positive relationships with families schools and stakeholders
Participating in staff meetings and additional duties as requested

Essential
Qualifications and/or experience in business administration or a related field
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to understand and apply admin practices and policies relevant to childrens services
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Willingness to learn about statutory and funding requirements in childrens services
Competency using Microsoft Office 365 and digital platforms
Desirable
Experience using OWNA or other childcare management systems
Additional Requirements
Current NSW Working with Children Check
National Police Check
A valid Drivers License
