Pay Rate/Range:$18.00/hr 4% increase after completing a 60 day introductory period
Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to operate a laser welding booth. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude prior welding experience and the ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced changing work environment and takes pride in delivering consistent high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor laser welding equipment in accordance with safety and production guidelines
- Perform setups and adjustments as needed for different products and material specifications
- Inspect finished components to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Use measuring tools including tape measures (in fractions) pi tapes and various hand tools
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Adapt to shifting priorities and support other production tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous welding experience
Ability to read a tape measure in fractions
Ability to read/learn a pi tape and use various small hand tools
Job Type: Direct Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm
