POSITION TITLE: Assistant District Attorney
STATUS: Full-Time State Employee Immediate Opening
CLOSING: Open Until Filled
SALARY: $70000-$100000 annually based upon experience

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an experienced prosecutor to join our team in Mayes County. This position involves a range of legal responsibilities focused on the effective prosecution of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. Caseload assignments will be determined based on the successful applicants skills experience and areas of interest. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in prosecuting special victim crimes including cases involving adult and child sexual abuse.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in Oklahoma.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Possess excellent oral advocacy legal analysis and legal writing and editing skills. Display strong organizational interpersonal communication problem solving and teamwork skills.
