Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Kidney Transplant Coordinator to join the Transplant Team located in Omaha NE. The Transplant Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of care for kidney transplant patients including pre-transplant evaluations waitlist management surgical preparation and post-transplant follow-up while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the transplant process.

Job Duties : Transplant Coordinator
Provide and promote the delivery of 24/7 transitional quality patient care for a designated group of patients through role modeling displaying excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice and acting as educator for the transplant patient population. Provide a continuum of care and education for pre and post-transplant patients and their families (living donor or recipient) and serve as a patient advocate in the healthcare system and community.
