This position is part of the USCAN Repair Shop located in Marlborough Massachusetts and will be an on-site position reporting to the USCAN Repair Shop Manager. At Cytiva our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What will you do:
- Repairs and Preventative Maintenance in one or more modalities of equipment.
- The Engineer is aware of and follows all Field Modification Instructions and/or Instrument Service Information bulletins.
- Works with experienced Engineers both in-house and occasionally remotely as needed to learn troubleshooting repair and equipment installation techniques.
- Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner ordering repair parts and managing cycle times.
- Focus on customer needs and satisfaction while building on and enhancing the relationship with the customer to ultimately become a perceived partner in their business.
Who you are:
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Biomedical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field and 1 year of servicing electronic/mechanical equipment; OR equivalent military experience (applicants with experience in repairing mechanical electrical or biomedical equipment); OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience servicing electronic/mechanical equipment.
- At least 1 year of experience with Web applications and proficient with Microsoft Suite
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- This position requires up to 20% flying and/or driving travel which includes overnight stays
- Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to regularly lift move slide raise and/or place up to 35lbs. Ability to stand walk (prolonged) and sit; squat and kneel ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
- Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
- Ability to deliver results in an uncertain environment ability to multitask and prioritize.

The salary range for this role is $60000- $70000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
