We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Social Worker to join us at Mansfield District Hospital on a fixed term basis (parental leave cover at 0.4 EFT). The Social Worker works as part of a Primary Care Centre team and is accountable for provision of a range of Counselling services for Community Health Clients Inpatients Aged Care residents and community education as part of a multi- disciplinary team and in accordance with the objectives of Mansfield District Hospital this position is required to coordinate deliver and evaluate effective and accessible services within Mansfield District Welfare and other contracted service sites.

Mansfield District Hospital (MDH) is located in Victorias scenic high country at the foot of Mount Buller and on the shores of Lake Eildon only two hours from Melbourne.
