The Natural Resources Access Regulator (NRAR) is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Project Officer Education in our Education and Engagement team to manage and coordinate the development implementation and evaluation of complex projects relating to policy and regulatory matters to achieve project outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives.
NRAR enforces the NSW water laws and offers guidance and education to help water users strive to be an efficient and effective regulator that celebrates and reflects the diversity of the community we with NRAR provides a chance to make sure water is used lawfully so that all communities and the environment get a fair share.
This role could consist of managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning development and implementation for a range of projects relating to policy and regulations developing project plans and managing budgets to name a few.
About You
You are someone who thrives in establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships through effective communication negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met. You are skilled with ensuring project outcomes are achieved on time and on budget. You will monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation including risk and contingency management project impact and quality measures to identify and address issues and achieve project outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will have experience leading developing and implementing both broad and targeted education programs to affect behaviour change within a community. You will make day to day decisions on your own work and on project work involving multi-disciplinary teams. You will also provide expert advice feedback and authoritative recommendations on system and process improvements.
