As a Business Analyst / Salesforce Functional Specialist reporting into the Transformation Lead. You will play a critical role in helping a 130 year old NDIS Community Care Provider leverage Salesforce to improve processes drive stakeholder engagement and own internal service management. You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs design tailored Salesforce solutions configure the platform and own the roadmap of additional feature adoption.
This role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities NDIS operations and bring able to drive and communicate through an empathetic change management approach. You will act as the bridge between our external partners internal salesforce users and other technical teams ensuring that solutions align with NDIS requirements and industry best practices.
As our Salesforce Business Analyst you will work as part of our dedicated Salesforce support team to ensure we are maximising the efficiencies and capitalising on the full features and benefits of Salesforce across our various business units.
What will I be doing
Own the day-to-day management and long-term evolution of Salesforce features and Use Cases as it relates to being the central hub of our businesss operations
Partner with internal teams to translate business needs into technical solutions within Salesforce
Manage and optimize automation flows and integrations with connected systems (e.g. billing reporting document generation)
Identify and resolve data issues duplication and sync errors across various systems
Maintain strong governance on user access field usage and change control processes
Lead cross-functional projects to improve efficiency and system performance
Develop and maintain clear documentation training materials and best practices
Act as a strategic advisor on Salesforce-related decisions and future-state system design
Improve business performance through Tableau reporting and dashboarding
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Solution Design
Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges define solutions and provide guidance on system requirements to drive organisational improvements
Conduct discovery workshops gather user stories and document functional requirements using JIRA
Translate business needs into Salesforce solutions using standard and custom functionalities
Design data models business processes and user experiences within the Salesforce ecosystem
2. Salesforce Configuration & Implementation
Configure Salesforce Service Cloud and other relevant modules
Create and manage objects fields workflows validation rules flows process automation and reports/dashboards
Conduct testing (UAT regression testing and system validation) to ensure proper system functionality
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
Train end-users and business teams on new Salesforce features and best practices
Develop training materials user guides and documentation tailored to internal users
Provide post-implementation support and ongoing system enhancements
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders recommending improvements and innovations aligned with NDIS and NFP trends and regulations
Hoc Requirements
Manage escalated incidents and service requests to ensure timely resolution monitoring and addressing performance and availability issues and escalating to development team where appropriate
Assist the Salesforce team with day-to-day Salesforce administrative functions including user account setup and maintenance permissions and sharing rules password resets data updates via Data Loader building and running adhoc reports
Manage the system change process alongside the development team including coordinating testing activity ensuring quality outcomes are delivered and stability of the systems are maintained
Work closely with various stakeholder groups business units and user groups to drive uptake and embed usage
Actively explore process improvements and ways of increasing efficiency
Support activities aligned with major Salesforce enhancements
Qualifications & Skills
National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Clearance in accordance with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (Practice StandardsWorker Screening) Rules 2018
5 years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant Business Analyst or Administrator working with Salesforce solutions
Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture automation tools (Flows Process Builder) and data management
Salesforce Administrator certification strongly preferred
Experience with Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud managing complex approval flows opportunity structures and integrations
Ability to gather requirements create user stories and translate them into technical solutions
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
Excellent communication and active listening skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of the NDIS and how Services are priced and delivered
Ability to support end user training via multiple formats
Highly motivated solution focused and responds to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to users and other employees of the organisation
Required to travel or work across and/or be located at any of the SensesWA locations
