Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech. Vishay UltraSource is currently seeking applicants for an HR Generalist in Hollis NH. In this position the HR Generalist ensures implementation and administration of the following areas: recruiting benefits employee relations health/safety and policy/procedure communication. The HR Generalist will work with managers and supervisors to effectively lead and manage their employees.
Job Location:
Hollis NH is a small suburb in Southern New Hampshire an hour north of Boston MA and conveniently located near other major cities and access points in the New England area. Vishay UltraSource has 27000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 80 employees working between two shifts.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee full recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt open positions by screening candidates coordinating interviews with hiring managers and extending offers
- Act as the primary HR contact for applicants during the onboarding and new hire orientation process
- Maintain headcount reporting and ensure accurate and timely data entry in Workday HR Platform
- Process Leave of Absence requests according to Federal and State law as well as company policy and provide counsel to employees and supervisors regarding request and approval process
- Collaborate with divisional HR management on employee relations concerns
- Implement benefits and wellness initiatives and act as local support for employee questions related to benefits
- Administer company policies and procedures that comply with all state and federal laws including ADA AAP FMLA EEO and OSHA requirements
- Participate as a member of the safety committee and partner with local EHS manager regarding workplace incident/accidents and filing of workers compensation claims
- Plan and organize local employee events and activities
What you will bring along:
- 2 years of related Human Resources experience
- BS or AA Degree in related discipline required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Experience with Workday HR platform is beneficial but not required
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Solid analytical and communication skills
