Job Description

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Taking beverage orders from patrons suggesting or describing cocktails spirits wines beers etc. and transmitting orders to bartender
Receiving and placing beverage orders on a service tray adding fruits garnishes decorations etc. as required before serving to guests
Totaling checks and collecting payment for beverages
Dispensing bottled beverages confections or any other item upon the request of the guest.
Returning empty glasses and maintaining neat and clean work and customer service areas
Serving hors doeuvres and snacks at private or catered parties as requested
Performing other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or management
Qualifications:
Minimum age 18 to serve alcoholic beverages.
Must have verifiable work experience as a server.
Must be able to pass the accredited alcohol server test (RAMP) within the probation period.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Must present a neat and orderly appearance and friendly courteous attitude
Ability to handle monetary transactions
Job Demands:
Must be able to work and stand for long periods of time.
May include some mornings. Mostly afternoons/evenings including weekends and holidays.
This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements which may require evening weekend and holiday hours.
