Estimating Manager - Solar and Energy Storage Projects
We are recruiting an experiencedEstimating Managerto lead estimating efforts for majorutility-scale solar and energy storage projectsacross the U.S.

We are recruiting an experiencedEstimating Managerto lead estimating efforts for majorutility-scale solar and energy storage projectsacross the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of estimators focused on delivering high-quality detailed cost estimates.
- Review RFPs project documents and site information to build comprehensive bid strategies.
- Oversee the estimating process from project kickoff through proposal submission.
- Ensure estimates are accurate complete and competitive.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering procurement and construction teams to align proposals with real-world project delivery.
- Manage and continuously improve cost databases historical pricing and market trends.
- Provide pricing strategies and risk assessments to support executive decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to streamline estimating workflows and tools for long-term efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Business or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of estimating experience including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Minimum 2 years of estimating experience specifically on utility-scale solar projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Salesforce and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent leadership analytical and team management skills.
- Proven ability to develop competitive pricing strategies for large-scale projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
- Occasional travel to project sites.
