If you are a Sustainability & Climate Change Professional problem solver with motivation to learn someone willing to collaborate with different teams across PwC Greece a good communicator with high emotional intelligence and someone willing to take ownership beyond the obvious then you are the one!
Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team:
- Actively assisting in the drafting of ESG and sustainability related proposals in the context of tendering for new business
- Manages multiple and complex internal and external ESG information requests ensuring quality of deliverables in line with company standard and positions and ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Assist clients in carrying out sustainability plans and initiatives by utilizing technical evaluations of the best available practices and technologies available
- Engaging on business level discussions/ workshops with clients and documenting business requirements
- Develop and manage long term relationships at senior levels with clients
- Application of common sense / commercial awareness / knowledge obtained during the project to assess the quality and reliability of information supplied
What we are looking for
- At least 2 years of client facing experience leading and delivering advisory work in the field of ESG sustainability and climate change
- Experience and proven track record of exceptional performance in one or more of the subsequent domains:
Sustainability reporting and disclosure including the application of GRI ESRS TCFD and other standards/frameworks
Carbon Footprint calculation including Scope 1 2 and 3 emissions.
Submission of ESG ratings including EcoVadis and CDP
Preparation submission and validation of Net Zero targets based on Science Based Targets initiative methodology
CSRD reporting including Double Materiality Assessment
Climate Risk Assessment including physical and transition risks in alignment with TCFD guidelines
EU Taxonomy assessment including evaluation based on the provisions of the EU Climate Delegated Acts (TSC DNSH MSS criteria and preparation of the EU Taxonomy disclosures
Biodiversity Impact and Risk Assessment including preparation of TNFD disclosures
- BSc degree in Engineering or Finance is required
- Excellent critical thinking intellectual curiosity and problem solving abilities
- Strong research analytical and report writing skills
- Excellent project management skills and a demonstrated track record in overseeing challenging projects.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and Powerpoint and experience in handling large amounts of data
- Strong personal initiative agility and resourcefulness
- Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing in a clear concise and professional manner (both in English & in Greek) including technical terminology
