Your Tasks
- Lead the development and evolution of the overall quality strategy for the team and platform aligning with business objectives and product roadmaps.
- Propose and champion improvements to testing processes tools and metrics focusing on efficiency effectiveness and scalability.
- Proactively research evaluate and advocate for new testing methodologies and technologies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams from the initial design phase to ensure quality is built-in from the ground up.
- Provide expert guidance on testability reliability and maintainability of software architecture and design.
- Strategically design and oversee the implementation of robust scalable and highly performant automated test frameworks for the teams tools and APIs.
- Champion the adoption of best practices in test automation promoting reusability maintainability and developer empowerment in testing.
- Act as a primary thought leader and strategic advisor for quality-related topics across domains and the wider organization.
- Mentor and empower other QAs and engineers across the company in advanced testing tools strategies and quality best practices.
Your Profile
- Deep expertise in automated testing strategies (API E2E performance security etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (K6 Pact Playwright Cucumber etc.).
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Advanced understanding of REST APIs microservices architecture CI/CD pipeline optimization and Docker/containerization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles to influence testability.
- Strategic vision.
- Exceptional leadership influence and consensus-building skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and continuous knowledge sharing.
- Outstanding communication presentation and mentoring skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a critical proactive eye for systemic quality improvements.
- Ability to drive change and overcome organizational impediments to quality.
- 5 years as QA Engineer
- 3 years as QA Automation
