NCE L3 – BCS (Gurgaon)

Role Overview:
The Network Consulting Engineer (NCE) L3 BCS is responsible for technology design implementation and optimization with a focus on network performance and reliability. The engineer works closely with customers to support integration audits and design transitions for Cisco technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation and optimization of MPLS and Access Network solutions.

• Conduct network audits to ensure efficiency.

• Assist customers in tool/system/service assurance integrations.

• Build and simulate customer environments to validate fixes.

• Support presales and translate business needs to technical design.

• Develop and deliver design documents test plans and knowledge transfers.

• Perform proactive software risk analysis.

• Act as a technical individual contributor.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8 10 years in network design deployment and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies: IOS-XR IOS-XE NXOS NCS/8K routers ACI.

• Protocol expertise: OSPF IS-IS BGP MPLS (LDP TE) Segment Routing L3VPN VXLAN RSVP EVPN.

• Switching knowledge: STP MSTP VTP vPC VDC.

• Familiarity with TACACS DNS Storage Systems and Network Management.

• Programming exposure in Java Python XML REST API.

• Certifications: CCNA CCNP CCIE (R&S or SP) preferred.
