Job Description

Are there any barriers (ex. upcoming vacation) that would prevent your candidate from completing compliance on time The compliance deadline is 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date. (Y or N) 4x10s Days 7a-5p No Weekends No Call. Holidays as needed. *5 years exp preferred minimum 2 years travel exp required. *Neurosurgery Team (Spine and Head)e exp required. *BLS required (ARC or AHA) *NBSTSA required *second scrub & circulate required *Assists with patient care. Verifies selected data about the health status of the patient with the circulating nurse. Observes patient and alerts RN to symptoms reactions and changes in patients condition. *Assists the RN with selected patientcare interventions in a manner that is consistent with policies and procedures. Anticipates physician needs/requirements preoperatively and postoperatively. *Assists with the surgical process. Performs basic scrub duties and table set-ups for basic procedures. Identifies instruments checks equipment and obtains supplies as relates to procedures. Maintains asepsis throughout procedure; identifies and corrects breaks
