Role Responsibilities:
- Design engaging and effective lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum.
- Create a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various assessment methods.
- Facilitate discussions and group activities to enhance understanding of social science concepts.
- Implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop cross-curricular projects.
- Conduct extracurricular activities that promote social awareness.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and methodologies in social science education.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
- Support students with special needs by adapting lessons appropriately.
- Facilitate field trips and experiential learning opportunities.
- Engage with the community to foster relationships and partnerships.
- Continuously reflect on personal teaching practices for professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Education or a related field.
- Master s degree in Social Science is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a relevant subject.
- Professional teaching certification or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of social science curriculum and educational standards.
- Experience with lesson planning and curriculum design.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues students and parents.
- Familiarity with educational technology and online resources.
- Demonstrated commitment to the development of inclusive and student-centered practices.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development activities.
- Creative and adaptive teaching methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Work Environment:
This is an on-site position located in India where you will have the opportunity to work directly with students and fellow educators in a collaborative and engaging atmosphere.
