Job Description
Position: SAP BASIS Consultant
Location: Omaha NE (Onsite Preferred; Remote Considered)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior SAP BASIS Consultant with extensive experience in supporting both cloud and on-premise SAP implementations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth hands-on expertise in managing and administering a wide array of SAP systems and be able to provide support across various platforms.
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage SAP systems including but not limited to:
- S/4HANA
- MDG
- BTP
- PI/PO
- IS
- BW
- SAP Datasphere
- SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Solution Manager
- Other native SAP applications
- Perform SAP installations configurations upgrades migrations and patching across on-premise private cloud and public cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues.
- Work collaboratively with development infrastructure and project teams.
- Participate in change management and alerting using tools like CALM.
- Support integration with SaaS platforms such as:
- SuccessFactors
- Concur
- Ariba
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration and ABAP-related SAP technologies.
- Strong experience in:
- Installation and maintenance of SAP landscapes
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
- SAP system lifecycle management (upgrades support packs etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills:
- Working knowledge of SAP CALM (Change and Alert Management).
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms like SuccessFactors Concur Ariba.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
- Experience with scripting for automation Shell Python.
- Knowledge of Linux OS and relational database technologies.
