Details:
Weekly teaching during school hours - 8.45am-3.30 term time
Permanent placement in a Sing Education primary school/s
Teaching 1-5 days per week
Teaching locations: primary schools within Greater London
Must have (or be willing to apply for through us) an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
Communicate professionally and clearly to represent Sing Education within a school
settingAttend and engage with Sing Education team training and induction sessions

Qualification
University graduate with a good degree in music or a related field
Evidence of further professional development
QTS
Knowledge and Skills
Strong singing voice and confidence to use the singing voice to support pupil learning
Excellent spoken and written English
Ability to lead small group (up to 5 people) and one-to-one lessons
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Basic keyboard skills if not first instrument
A degree of ICT literacy and ability to use online systems such as G Suite and other communication platforms
Knowledge of or experience in Kod ly and Dalcroze teaching practices
Ability to accompany on the piano/guitar for choir assemblies and other performances
Relevant Experience
Classroom or one-to-one teaching experience
Experience of working with children or young people in a teaching or leadership capacity.
Experience of leading music workshops
Experience of working with children with SEND
Personal Qualities
Ability to lead and inspire a passion for music in pupils
A firm approach to discipline and good management skills
The ability to work well as part of both Sing Education and in-school teams
The ability to maintain confidentiality as appropriate
A sense of humour
An ability to generate enthusiasm for music in the wider life of the school
A high level of personal organisation and good communication skills
A commitment to personal and company wider development

Rate of Pay: Freelance basis - 23- 27 per hour
