Job Position: Shop Helper
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Shift/Hours: MondayFriday 4:30 PM 3:00 AM
Location: Sapulpa OK
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Helper to join our team in Sapulpa. This is a safety-sensitive position that involves working around overhead cranes forklifts automated machinery and other industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will assist skilled tradespeople maintain quality standards and ensure safe shop practices while developing valuable hands-on experience in a fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work safely around overhead cranes forklifts trucks power equipment and automated systems
Assist skilled craftsmen with a variety of tasks in the fabrication shop
Consistently meet productivity standards and quality expectations
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S standards
Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently and professionally
Required Skills and Experience
Basic fabrication shop experience preferred
Ability to operate overhead cranes and various power tools
Proficient in reading and writing basic shop communications
Capable of using a tape measure accurately
Willingness and ability to learn to read shop drawings and understand bills of materials
Eagerness to acquire new skills and support team goals
