Job Description
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to fulfill changing business needs and reduce technical debt while delivering essential features.
- Participate actively in design and code reviews to maintain system integrity and align with risk management protocols.
- Lead the execution of projects and system enhancements maintaining clear and up-to-date technical documentation.
- Clearly articulate system design principles and provide expert-level support for production issues.
- Guide and mentor developers fostering adherence to coding standards and best practices across the team.
- Keep senior leadership regularly informed on project progress and technical risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science IT or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- 10 12 years of proven experience as an RPG Programmer/Analyst in AS400/iSeries environments is essential.
- Strong analytical thinking and advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in RPG (including ILE) PowerBuilder CL DDS subfile processing and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with AS400 systems and iSeries development tools.
- In-depth knowledge of DB2 databases and Query/400 on AS400.
- Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
