Job Description
- Design develop and maintain robust scalable automated test frameworks for web mobile and API-based applications.
- Collaborate with developers QA analysts product managers and DevOps to define test strategies and ensure high-quality releases.
- Drive continuous improvement in test automation coverage speed and reliability.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts and suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Analyze test results identify bugs and work closely with developers for root cause analysis and resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to test architecture decisions.
- Mentor junior team members and promote automation best practices across QA and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g. Java Python JavaScript or C#).
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright TestNG JUnit or similar.
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools (e.g. Postman REST Assured) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps).
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Familiarity with BDD/TDD practices and frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies testing types and agile development processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud platform exposure (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Experience with containerization and virtualization tools (Docker Kubernetes).
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.
