This position manages a large team of both experienced professionals and team leaders across functions manages medium to large-sized programs or multiple small programs. Monitors strategic planning efforts presents progress reports and value-stream strategy recommends solutions for program problems manages the P&L of programs and multiple vendors and supports contract negotiation.
We are looking for a Program Manager (Value Stream Leader) to lead the development pursuits and production projects for the NC3 platforms. This role is responsible for managing the program plan schedule budget customer interfacing pursuits and execution.
What You Will Do
Leads medium or multiple small programs to ensure adherence to program plans schedules and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility
Leads pursuit activities for competitive and sole-sources activities
Manages the P&L of the program to ensure profitability targets are met and manages multiple vendors
Develops milestones program plans schedules and budgets for programs to ensure that the organizations objectives are met
Consolidates and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the program(s) and manages value-stream strategy and progress
Monitors strategic planning efforts for medium and/or complex programs
Demonstrates continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
Identifies and reacts to program problems and recommends solutions such as allocation of resources changing contractual specifications and coordinating responses to customer action items
Supports the development of new business growth strategies
Supports the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes including coordinating preparation of proposals business plans proposal work statements operation budgets specifications and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organizations interests
Directs all program phases from inception through completion
Interfaces with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion
Manages the contract lifecycle cost schedule and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs
Coordinates the negotiation proposals business plans budgets and contracts for programs
Establishes cost focused performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree 12 years of relevant experience
Active and transferable Top SecretU.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Knowledge utilizing EVMS to manage and track program performance
Strong communication and presentation skills
Leading high performing cross functional teams
Experience with Risk management tools

Knowledge of airborne VLF systems

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
