Job Description

The Coordinator VAD Equipment reflects the mission vision and values of NM adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies procedures guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Coordinator VAD Equipment is responsible for planning coordinating and directing the operations of all equipment for effective maintenance and repair programs equipment tracking equipment safety programs and equipment use on company job sites. The position acts as a technical advisor on all equipment issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and tracks equipment on a daily basis by job site type and use.
  • Maintains a dispatch board or log sheet.
  • Prepares purchase orders for rental equipment; tracks each piece of rented equipment by job site and job number.
  • Coordinates repairs and maintenance with mechanics; generates purchase orders for repairs or required maintenance.
  • Purchases small tools and any supplies needed for the equipment.
  • Issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and the accounting system.
  • Prepares equipment report for branch management outlining equipment costs.
  • Inspects equipment on a regular basis to comply with company safety policies.
  • Coordinates all equipment recalls and working with the VAD manufacturer NM and the FDA to facilitate all recalls.
  • Ensures that service standards are maintained and evaluated.
  • Coordinates training sessions for new equipment with the operators as needed.
  • Coordinates with DME for equipment shipment.
  • Conducts quarterly inventory audits reconciliation and maintains appropriate documentation.
  • Assists manager in meeting hospital objectives and goals.

Qualifications :

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience.

Preferred:

  • Experience with medical terminology as well as biomedical devices.
