Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in Seattle Washington.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Undertaking design activities on maritime projects - container terminals mining/bulk oil/gas marinas ports and harbors coastal DOD facilities coastal defense and development schemes
- Civil design for terminals across the United States
- Independently prepare engineering related calculations and develop civil technical specifications plans and details
- Provides guidance to entry level engineers
- Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works
Qualifications :
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field with six years or more years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid Drivers license required
- Professional Engineering License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters Degree
- Proficient in CAD and Civil design software
- Experience in the design of marine terminals naval facilities and port facilities
- Minimum six years experience in waterfront civil design.
- Enthusiastic hard-working technically proficient with ambition and drive
- Professional Engineering Registration in Washington or ability to obtain it immediately upon start
