Landscaping Crew Member - Secured Access

Obtaining and maintaining the appropriate Security Clearance is required to access the primary worksite. Obtaining Securing Clearance can be a lengthy process and will be discussed during the initial interview. Everyone is encouraged to apply! CW staff will help throughout the entire process.

A Day in the Life of a Landscaping Crew Member:

• Start your day by checking in in your supervisor and your team members.
• Review the days assignments and load up the truck with the tools and equipment youll need.
• Once you arrive at your assigned location youll jump into action by:
  • Mowing large lawn areas edging sidewalks and driveways and trimming around trees fences and other hard-to-reach spots.
• Next youll focus on landscaping tasks like:
  • Weeding flowerbeds pruning shrubs and small trees laying mulch or planting seasonal flowers.
• As you wrap up the job site youll blow off walkways clear any debris and make sure everything looks polished.
• Youll reload tools clean up the work area and communicate any site notes or equipment issues to your crew leader.
• Once the team arrives back to the office youll help unload clean up and prep for the next day.

• Someone who will follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE on the job.
• Someone who is comfortable working in a team and following direction.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

• Work is performed entirely outdoors regardless of weather including high heat humidity cold wind light rain and direct sunlight.
• Exposure to natural elements such as dirt mud grass pollen and dust.
• May come into contact with insects small animals or allergens while working in outdoor or landscaped areas.
• Occasional exposure to landscaping chemicals or fertilizers (PPE and training provided for safe handling).
• Must be able to navigate uneven sloped or rocky terrain safely while carrying tools or performing tasks.
• Tolerance for loud noises from equipment and machinery is necessary.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves safety glasses hearing protection and high-visibility clothing when appropriate.
