Job Description
- use of both formal and informal assessments to diagnose the strengths and needs of students
- interpret assessment information for tailored instruction
- implementation of strategies/reading programs adopted by school district
- provide assistance to classroom teacher to promote carryover of strategies and optimal learning
- participate in parent conferences answer parent concerns act as resource to parents to encourage support of their childs reading/language arts development
- participate in SST (student support team) as warranted
- plan facilitate and present reading information and data at grade level meetings and POD
- other duties as assigned by the school principal
