QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in a discipline relative to programming behavioral health social services public administration human services or other occupationally related field.
  • Masters degree or clinical licensure preferred.
  • Three years of progressively responsible professional management experience.
  • This position does not require professional licensure; but strong management/supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Other combinations of education or experience may be considered.

MISSION -Montana Department of Corrections is creating a safer Montana through Accountability Rehabilitation and Empowerment.

JOB OVERVIEW The Rehabilitation & Programs Division emphasizes the importance of evidence-based services by providing a comprehensive integrated program to meet the needs of incarcerated individuals who require substance abuse violence prevention family violence sex crime and general crime interventions.

  • The Treatment & Programs Supervisor at the Flathead Valley Reentry Center serves as a member of the leadership team at the facility and is the highest-level treatment and programming position in the facility. This is a new position at the Department of Corrections newest prerelease center. This facility provides a supportive environment for offenders to transition to the community while providing security and accountability measures to support public safety.
  • This position provides operational oversight to all treatment programming and case management functions at the facility. Oversight includes but is not limited to: department direction coordination fiscal oversight supervision and leadership.
  • Collaborates with Department facility contract and clinical services staff regarding implementation and evaluation of evidence-based program services in accordance with standards and regulations for providing care to incarcerated offenders and as directed by the Rehabilitation & Programs Division.
  • The position also demonstrates an active role in ensuring quality assurance and fidelity of treatment and programming functions.
  • Direct and manage operational activities for the program including hiring staff allocating resources oversee program performance and manage projects.
