Job Description

Responsible for help-desk support for local and off-site users of computers technology peripherals telephone/voicemail and other digital technologies with a positive caring efficient and effective manner.
  1. Serve as the first responder to all technology needs/requests that arise in a positive manner and with a can-do attitude and proactively communicate status updates to each inquiry.
  2. Monitor and respond positively quickly and effectively to requests for technology assistance received via telephone email or in person ensuring every inquiry is addressed in the shortest amount of time possible and with a resolution as best can be provided
  3. Remotely offer effective solutions for problems related to common software hardware and working practices which may include verbal written or recorded step-by-step support to building users.
  4. Plan assign direct and provide guidance for technology support for issues related to software hardware or working practices that can not be resolved quickly or remotely.
  5. Effectively communicate technical information to end users requesting assistance.
  6. Continuously seek to broaden knowledge and skills by researching problems and finding solutions to stay current with technology systems and solutions.
  7. Provide support to staff students and parents by creating help documentation for most common problems.
  8. Monitor and track support requests being made solutions and communicate data with the department so that the department may plan for better addressing district need.
  9. Create and maintain user accounts and user permissions on technology systems maintained by the department.
  10. Assist with technology purchasing inventory and check-in/out.
  11. Assist with student device support as requested through the online website.
  12. Complete special projects for the department as required including but not limited to website updates annual systems updates etc.
  13. Demonstrates the commitment to build and maintain a safe fair and respectful working and learning environment that honors the cultural diversity of students and staff.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
