The Intelligence Automation Competence Centre has the assignment to create value by providing automation solutions and simplify the life of our IKEA co-worker working hand in hand with the business and product teams.
This role includes essential duties and responsibilities:
- Technology Leadership and Strategy:
- Provide expertise and strategic direction in cognitive automation technologies and AI for intelligent automation.
- Lead initiatives focused on integrating AI into automation solutions and stay current with technology trends.
- Solution Architecture and Framework:
- Evaluate intelligent automation solutions including AI technologies to identify the best fit for business processes.
- Architect scalable and robust intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Develop frameworks for solution delivery ensuring consistency reliability and scalability across all automation projects.
- Development and Best Practices:
- Develop best practices around intelligent automation drive the creation of reusable components and provide technical guidance and support for automation solutions.
- Mentor development teams in best practices and advanced technologies.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders across business units including leaders teams and third-party vendors.
- Collaborate closely with the Innovation team during the exploration phase of intelligent automation technologies acting as a liaison to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
In this role you will report to our Intelligent Automation Platform Manager in Data & Technology at IKEA Supply.

To be successful in this role we expect you have:
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Power Platform as an architect.
- Experienced in the Power Platform you know how to implement and leverage all parts of the platform such as the CoE DLP & environment strategies etc.
- Proven experience in leading AI initiatives and implementing AI-driven automation solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate).
- In-depth knowledge in automation domains including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Conversational Automation and AI for Intelligent Automation with a strong focus on cognitive automation technologies.
- Expertise in software development life cycle phases including design configuration testing debugging and implementation.
- A good understanding of development concepts and supporting tools such as Git Visual Studio Jira and working with REST APIs. Experience working with programming languages such as C# (preferred) and Python would be advantageous.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale automation projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to have certification
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or Azure AI certifications would be advantageous
