As a QA Test Lead you will be a member of a team of engineers passionate about changing the world. We are supporting our customer to energized millions of houses around the world. How You Will Make An Impact
Responsible for planning system quality assurance activities
Reporting to Quality Manager for overall Quality Assurance program
Preparation of test plans and test procedures for newly developed applications
Setup and maintenance of the test environment
Comprehend the application requirement as per customer specifications and create Test Procedure and Test Scenarios for baseline and newly developed features for each release
Closely coordinate with Domain experts to capture key features of applications in Test Procedure
Scheduling of tests and test resources be well organized and committed to processes & timelines..
Should proactively look for Test Automation methods to reduce time/cost for testing and be consistent with documentation
Work in collaboration with Project Technical Leads
Your background
Bachelors (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
ISTQB Level 1 certification will be an advantage
Basic understanding of electric power generation and transmission networks.
Basic understanding of SCADA systems.
Experience with software testing & using tools such as JIRA ADO (or similar).
Occasional travel to other Hitachi offices for internal meetings.
Strong analytical and communication skills with an eagerness to thrive in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
Fluent in English both written and spoken to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
