You will provide our guests with excellent service: as a friendly voice on the phone an amicable contact by email or with a welcoming smile at check-in. At the front desk and in our Reservations department you will be responsible for:
- Looking after our guests including check-in and check-out
- Reviewing and processing bookings overbookings and options
- Maintaining Mews or Opera as well as our electronic bookings systems
- Producing and verifying invoices including managing payments
- Cash transactions and cashing up
- Administrative and organisational tasks (e.g. managing no-shows answering emails)
Qualifications :
Whether you are a hotel professional or changing careers you will fit in here! Because personality and hosting skills are our priority. You will also:
- Have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have professional experience in the hotel/catering/customer call centre industry or be looking for a change of career
- Have an excellent sense of quality and service as well as hosting skills and a passion for the hotel industry
- Be open and communicative and have a solid command of (written and spoken) English
- Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments we achieve our results together
- Knowledge of Mews or Opera and Front Office PMS is an advantage
- Should work 3 Reservations shifts and one Reception shift ( Total 32 hours a week)
- Must have the right to work in the UK ( please note the Company does not provide sponsorship Visas)
