Raytheon is seeking a Planner focused on both commodity (materials) and shop floor (building of assemblies) in support of the Global ISR Sensors and Software business. Tests and inspects optical components and systems using a variety of electro-optical metrology and inspection tools and software.

This person will liaise with other departments where appropriate to ensure the Optical Assembly meets the required demands. This position will be located ONSITE at our Westford MA facility.

What You Will Do

  • Support of the operations process (i.e. Contract award to MRP MRP Health factory performance)

  • Be accountable for operations cost schedule and quality

  • Support the execution of program schedules with Program Management Supply Chain Subcontracts Engineering and other functional areas to support on-time delivery (OTD)

  • Interface with Customers to understand needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service

  • Ability to own and/or support Requisition Release and Maintenance

  • Ability to own and/or support material transfers

  • Support Inventory Analysis (Excess Inventory)

  • Manage track and monitor Return to Vendor (RTV) & Outside Processing

  • Support planning tasks including monitoring planned orders and production order releases

  • Support Engineering Change planning and implementation for active inventoried and planned production

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior operations manufacturing and/or engineering experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years experience

  • SAP experience

  • Experience working with Electro-Optical assemblies used in surveillance and reconnaissance systems

  • Team oriented must be an active participant and willing to step in for other commodities as needed.

  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • Shift flexibility is critical.

  • Must have ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 5 years experience as a Scheduler/Planner with familiarity with using MRP.

  • Familiarity with SAP - Job release and material purchase requisition release.

  • Familiarity with Engineering Change monitoring and execution.

  • Follow oral and written instructions and have overall good communication skills.

  • Familiar with Excel Word Access and PowerPoint.

  • Must be able to work independently within a team environment.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
