Job Description

St. Marys School is seeking an enthusiastic and highly talented third grade teacher. The successful candidate will teach religion language arts mathematics science and social studies to students in a self-contained third grade classroom. The candidate should possess a BA/BS degree (Master degree preferred) and state certification and have at least 3 years of experience. The candidate will be required to teach formal religion lessons so he/she must also be a practicing Catholic familiar with the teachings of the successful candidate must also:- demonstrate effective planning skills by preparing lessons aligned to state standards- effectively integrate technology into instruction and learning activities- develop and use multiple forms of assessment and evaluation to ensure student growth- establish a system of classroom management which promotes self-direction self-regulation and a positive self-image- maintain an active and engaging learning environment- communicate professionally and effectively with students parents faculty and administrationAbout St. Marys School:St. Mary of the Annunciation School is a Catholic community of learners living the way of Christ.
