Key Responsibilities:

• Internal Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain standardized project performance reports (daily weekly and monthly).

  • Track and report on project progress cost performance productivity and resource utilization.

  • Consolidate data from cost control planning/scheduling procurement and construction teams for internal reports.

  • Generate variance analysis reports with explanations for deviations from plan (cost and schedule).

• Project Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor key project indicators (KPIs) such as Earned Value (EV) CPI SPI and other relevant metrics.

  • Support project forecasting efforts through trend analysis and historical data comparisons.

  • Highlight areas of concern or opportunity to improve performance.

• Data Management and Integration:

  • Maintain project data integrity across reporting tools and systems.

  • Interface with planners cost engineers and document controllers to ensure data accuracy and alignment.

  • Automate reporting dashboards where possible (e.g. using Power BI or Excel tools).

• Stakeholder Communication:

  • Collaborate with site teams and head office to communicate performance results and insights.

  • Prepare presentations and executive summaries for internal stakeholders and project leadership.

• Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to company standards and procedures for internal reporting.

  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for reports and performance data.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Business or a related field.

• Experience in project controls with a focus on internal reporting in the mining and/or construction sector.

• Site-based project experience is essential.

• Strong knowledge of cost control scheduling and performance measurement principles.

• Proficient in reporting tools such as Excel (advanced) Power BI and ERP systems (SAP Oracle etc.).

• Experience with Primavera P6 MS Project or similar scheduling tools.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Effective communication and presentation abilities.

• Able to work in remote and high-pressure environments.
