Reporting into and working closely with our Scrip Settlements Manager this position offers you the chance to deepen your knowledge across the full spectrum of equity settlements CHESS operations and corporate actions whilst taking on genuine leadership responsibilities. Youll mentor junior team members drive process improvements and become the go-to expert for complex settlement challenges. Your technical skills will flourish as you work with cutting-edge systems including GBST Shares.

Your expertise will be put to excellent use across the full range of post-trade activities that keep Australias equity markets running smoothly:
CHESS & Settlement Expertise: Ensure CHESS compliance and manage broker transfers conversions settlements and trade monitoring with precision.
Corporate Actions Leadership: Own and execute complex actions like takeovers and buybacks safeguarding client interests.
Innovation & System Enhancements: Lead testing and implementation of ASX/CHESS and GBST upgrades to boost operational efficiency.
People & Process Improvement: Mentor junior staff refine procedures and drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
What Type Of Person Will Be Successful
Youll thrive in this role if you have solid stockbroking industry experience with equity and options processing combined with practical knowledge of ASX rules and CHESS compliance requirements. Your background in handling corporate actions and post-trade activities has given you confidence working with various stakeholders and interfaces.
You approach complex problems methodically and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues. Full permanent working rights in Australia are essential.
